About The TA Position Postings
This site contains all postings for teaching assistant positions at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Such postings will be made several months before the start of a new semester, and all applications for those positions must be made by submitting an electronic application though this site. Please note the following apply to all teaching assistant positions:- The salary for graduate students serving as teaching assistants is currently $26.83/hour. In exceptional cases where no qualified graduate students have applied to a position, undergraduate students might be hired as undergraduate course assistants, at an hourly rate of $12.00.
- Students are typically assigned to postings in multiples of 50 hours of work, however other assignments are possible.
